The main difference of the creation of a virtual tour is the number of scans we do to make the walk through feel smooth and life like. In order to do a good scan of a property it takes about 1 hour for 1,000 square feet. Anyone quoting a very low price is not planning to do sufficient number of scans for the virtual tour to be smooth.
Imagine you have a room and if you break it down into 4 by 3 scans you would need to make 12 scans. At 1.5 minute per scan it would take about 18 minutes per room. If someone is going to do 4 scans per room, it would take them 6 minutes to scan the room. Sure, you will get both scans as a virtual tour. However, you will only be able to walk 4 large steps in the cheap scan room, versus our scan that you will be able to walk through with 12 normal steps. This is what makes that huge difference between a good scan and a poor scan. This is also what constitutes for the difference in price.
Beware, if someone is offering a lower price then a regular cost of virtual tours. A good question to ask them is if they will do a total of 120 scans or a total of 30 scans.
Most of our scans on a 2,400 sqft properties are about 100 scans. 5,000 square feet is best covered by 200 scans.
